Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog and welcome to this new blogpost! This is my second post for the thirty day gyaru challenge, and today is fifteen facts about me!

1. my favourite gyaru substyles are hime, himekaji and banba

2. i've only really been gal for about 9 months

3. my favourite colour is pink

4. i live in the netherlands

5. i like making stuff, like bracelets or bows or flower accesories

6. i really like spring rolls

7. i like to talk a lot

8. im in a gyarusa called gal☆actic, and we have four (including me) of the loveliest members

9. i don't like the fact that my school changed the way they work, and i've been thinking about moving schools because of it

10. Im very bad at doing my hair and usually do very simple, barely gal styles

11. When i'm bored in class i try to write some blogposts, or try to come up with as many blog ideas as possible

12. i have a dog called Bo

13. i do theatre

14. i hate using depop, ive only used it once

30 day gyaru challenge-when i started doing gal

I didnt know what to write, but then, my saviour Lizzie Bee posted a new blog, which led me to read more blogs again. Then i saw this thing that was called “30 day gyaru callenge”. So I decided i was gonna do this!!

When did you first start doing gal?

Hmm, the first time i ever tried gyaru was in march of 2021(i think). I was going to put a picture here, but i seem to have lost them… 

My first attempt was pretty bad, and i didnt know anything abut gyaru yet. All my inspiration came from tiktok, and cosplayers who did little droops for their cosplay make-up, but werent actually gyaru. i didnt really like it at the time, and i couldnt figure out what was wrong with my make-up, and why it didnt look how i wanted it too. but still, i was glad i tried (and still am) because it was a new experience considering a make-up, and i really began valueing make-up as a part of an outfit and different styles.

That summer i started wearing decora and researching more styles, but i still had never heard of gyaru. untill my at the time (and now as well, actually) favourite youtuber, cybr.grl, posted a new video, where she was trying out 'amekaji gyaru', and doing a style swap with someone named lizzie... see where im going with this?? i checked out lizzies video and channel, but wasnt immediatly drawn to gyaru again. instead that winter i turned into some kind of mix between scene and goth, and then scene again. but i still watched lizzies videos regularly, and started including gyaru in my 'j-fashion deep-dives'. I tried out gyaru a few more times, but without the make-up or hair... 😬😬 not really great attempts as you can guess, but they were attempts that helped me later nonetheless. Then this march, i started trying out gyaru more, and i started doing the make-up too(very good👏👏), but when my love for gyaru really solidified, was when i went to this ren fair thingie (elfia), and i put on my gal-est clothes, put on my gal-est make-up and did my hair the gal-est way(that i knew how to at the time). My friend told me it looked really good, and that it fit me, and i just thought 'wow. yes.' And then, i started doing gyaru make up almost every single day! And now were where i am now. i dont do my gal make every single day because of school, but i try to.

Okay so, for my first blogpost ever, I thought I'd introduce myself! 

My name is Luka, and I like gyaru fashion, art, reading and sewing. I'm currently sewing a bow for in my hair, but I'll probably make a post about it when I'm done lollz. 

I like reading fantasy books, like percy jackson or harry potter. 

I wish I was a better artist, but truthfully, that shouldn't matter, as long as I'm having fun. 

My main styles right now are himekaji and banba, but I wanna try out hime gyaru soon. 

I like cute things, like hello kitty and my melody or like bows and flowers or something haha!
